#hivebuzz

Chicago Learning Exchange RFP is Live!

We are living through a time of profound change, in part, powered by the digital revolution. These changes have deep implications for the current and future generations of learners, educators, parents, and society. Are you working at the intersection of education and technology? Or, are you interested in sparking interests by providing hands-on, engaging programs or spaces to Chicago youth?

Chicago Learning Exchange (CLX) is a new nonprofit whose vision is to create a connected community where all learning counts. Our new website is under construction, but we are still working. You can find the link to the RFP here: https://hivechicago.org/about/fund/2018-round-2-chicago-learning-exchange-request-for-proposals/.

Key Dates

  • RFP Release: June 1
  • Deadline: June 29

Please help us spread the word as CLX’s strength is derived from its community. We are pleased to invite proposals led by organizations that participate in the Hive Chicago Learning Network (Network), LRNG: CHI, and Chicago City of Learning (CCOL). If you are already a part of our community wonderful! If you’re not but serve Chicago youth (ages 11-25), you can add your organization’s youth program data to CCOL and be eligible. For more information on how to publish programs on CCOL, see here: http://files.constantcontact.com/58adf1f4401/366cdc35-2f8b-4d1e-b039-23002d46362b.pdf.

CLX works with a community of 200+ youth-serving organizations, cultural institutions, city agencies, technologists, funders, and universities to remake learning in Chicago so it’s driven by learners’ interests, enhanced by technology, and connected to opportunity.
