Hive Member:

Are non-profit organizations or institutions who directly serve Chicago middle and high-school youth through in-school and/or out-of-school programs, or whose participation reflects the highest levels of engagement in the Hive.

Hive Fund RFP guidelines:

  • In order to lead on an RFP proposal the organization must be a non-profit organization who directly serve middle- and high-school youth
  • New members can not lead a proposal in their first funding cycle
Hive Community Ally:

If your organization does not meet the criteria to be a Hive Member but your organization is aligned with Hive Chicago’s goals and mission, please consider becoming a Hive Community Ally.
Membership cycles are an opportunity to include voices not yet heard at our Network’s table, and invite new collaboration opportunities among existing members, allies, and new organizations. Do you have an organization in mind? Invite them to the June Meetup!

The cultivation of Hive’s membership requires the entire network to be committed as we ensure network growth and sustainability. Open membership cycles ensures we are cultivating the most inclusive network.

Membership applications will be reviewed by Hive staff, the Member Advisory Committee, and select Mozilla staff to determine whether or not the organization’s mission, vision, and goals align with Hive’s network and can increase network’s ability to solve shared challenges.
